I don’t remember exactly when it was, but Club world cup was held in Japan and I watched the final game on TV with my parents. AC Milan(Italy) beated Boca Junio (Argentine) and won the title. In that game, I and my dad were caught our eyes by one player. His name is Gattuso! His play style was sooo aggressive that we could never see that kind of play from Japanese players at that time. We were fascinated by his play style like “never give up to take the ball back”.
But, the most attractive moment of him was just after finishing the game! After their winning the game, Japanese interviewer were trying to talk with players celebrating their achievement. When he approached to Gattuzo, he was calling with someone, and he said “I was talking with my daughter”. How cute he was! I am not sure if it was not so special for people who live in Europe, but in Japan, it never happened that players called their family right after the finishing the game and during sill shot.
I and my dad were impressed that that wild and strong man must have been one of the sweetest fathers in the world.
Non mi ricordo accurato quando era, ma si e` svolta la Coppa del Monde per club in Giappone nel passato. io guardavo i gioco sul la TV con mei genitori e AC Milano vinceva.
